Leadership Summit on the Future of Environmental Responsibility • Denver, CO

September 11 - September 12

Collaborate with interactive groups of leading design professionals, global owners and developers, and top innovators as we step out of the theoretical space and get down to the pragmatics.

For years the collective design and construction industry has been discussing the negative impact that the built environment has on the planet and what must be done to course correct. Conversations began as talk of green design and sustainability and have progressed to include words like regeneration and resilience. Carbon is a part of most discussions on the future of environmental responsibility, but is there a common understanding of what carbon really is and why it matters?

Are we talking the same language?

It’s time to examine and reset our understanding and our language usage so that true progress can be made.

The DFC will be gathering in Denver, CO on September 11-12 to discuss the future of environmental responsibility. The primary themes will be:

  • Normalizing Our Use of Language
  • The Ecosystem of Carbon
  • De-Standardized Carbon Measures & Reporting
  • Tracking Carbon
  • And more . . .

This gathering is specifically arranged for Design and Sustainability Leaders in architecture and engineering firms and for anyone interested in resetting in order to move forward. Join us and help us to move this conversation into the future.

This event is eligible for up to 10.5 AIA LU|HSWs
